Recipe of Puff Pastry

Recipe of Puff pastry is a light and flaky pastry that is known for its delicate, buttery layers. It is made by repeatedly folding and rolling out a dough containing butter, which creates numerous thin layers when baked. The process of rolling and folding the dough creates a laminated structure, resulting in the distinctive puff and rise of the pastry when it is baked.

Preparation time – 1:45 min

Colour – Light Lime

Texture – Crunchy

Garnish – Ketch up


Flour – 250 gm

Salt – 5 gm

Sugar – 10 gm

Gluten – 2 gm

Lemon juice – few drops

Cold water – 150 ml

Cake margarine – 150 gm

Puff margarine – 150 gm

Egg – 2 pc


1.Mix all the Dry fruits ingredients in a bowl

2.Add the Lemon juice, Soaked gluten and water and knead the dough

3.Let it rest for some time

4.Add the Cake margarine and soften the dough

5 Divide the puff margarine into 3 parts, Soften it.

6.Roll the dough into a rectangle and apply 70% surface with puff margarine and do the envelope Fold

7.Repeat the process for two more times.

8.At last do the book fold and let it rest

9.Roll the dough & cut into rectangle

10.plase the boiled egg & Seal it

11.Egg wash the puff and bake them at 200°c for 18 – 20 mins

12.Let it cool & serve
